Customer Service Week Recap

Customer Service Week is internationally celebrated, and recognizes the importance of customer service, and the people who serve and support customers on a daily basis. Celebrating Customer Service Week provides a unique opportunity to celebrate the important role that customer service plays in each and every organization. Customer Service Week is celebrated annually during the first week of October, and provides a great opportunity to boost morale, motivation and team work.

On Monday October 2nd, OnTrac Customer Care transformed into a magical Disney wonderland. With themes ranging from Moana to Indiana Jones, OnTrac Customer Service Week provided many team building activities to boost morale as we head into the holiday season.

The week started off with OnTrac’s Annual Customer Service ping pong tournament, which continued throughout the week. This friendly competition takes place every year during Customer Service Week, and helps bring some friendly competition and teamwork. The OnTrac Customer Care Department was also able to participate in Mad Hatter croquet, an Under the Sea scavenger hunt, and even a pie in the face contest.

OnTrac Customer Service Week came to an end with a fun Disney dress up day where OnTrac employees got to come to work dressed as their favorite Disney character. The day ended with a delicious Matterhorn BBQ, along with a raffle ticket drawing for some fun prizes. OnTrac recognizes the valuable work customer care provides everyday, honoring them with customer service Week is one of the few ways to say thank you for the dedication and excellent service they provide.

At OnTrac, we are consistently working hard to improve our user experience for our customers and a better tracking experience is right around the corner. Some of the features and enhancements that will improve the quality of our real-time package tracking system are as follows.

  • Additional exception scans will be offered through the new tracking system in order to offer our customers a greater visibility and to keep you better informed of any updates to your delivery.
  • An easy and quick way to check the movement of your package through the new progress indicator as it travels to the final destination.
  • Status code descriptions have been redefined to make it easy-to-read along with additional status code details for the latest OnTrac tracking event for your package.
  • Faster service through quick access to delivery actions based on the current status.

Customer Service Week Recap

Customer Service Week is an international celebration that recognizes the people who serve and support customers on a daily basis. In 1992, the U.S. Congress proclaimed Customer Service Week a nationally recognized event, celebrated annually during the first full week in October.

Customer Service Week provides a unique opportunity for service and support professionals around the globe to share in a celebration of the important role that customer service plays in every organization.

At OnTrac, we value our employees for their dedication, loyalty, and hard work every day. To show our appreciation for Customer Service Week this year, we incorporated several events for OnTrac Customer Care agents to participate in during their breaks throughout the week. The activities featured a sports twist to the national theme of “Service Champions.”

Each day at the OnTrac Corporate Office, a different sport was showcased with hosted activities, crafts, and treats that went along with the day’s theme.

The themes for the week included the following:

  • Monday: Tennis
  • Tuesday: Baseball
  • Wednesday: Football
  • Thursday: Basketball
  • Friday: Who’s Your Champion?

The week began with the OnTrac Annual Customer Service Ping Pong Tournament. This popular event of friendly competition helped motivate company teamwork and boost morale. It is definitely a favorite activity of employees every year. There were several other events that Customer Care agents were able to get involved in during their breaks including an outdoor dunk tank, a Champion Avenue crafting station, and even a team oriented egg race.

During the week, raffle tickets were distributed to each Customer Care representative to reward them for their participation in the day’s activities. Overall, there was excellent involvement in dressing up and spreading the excitement of why working at OnTrac is second to none.

On the final day of the week, OnTrac hosted a BBQ for the entire Corporate Office along with a prize drawing for the raffle tickets that were earned during the week. OnTrac is proud to recognize our fantastic employees for being the best at what they do day in and day out.
