OnTrac Vice President of Business Development Mark Magill will be representing the parcel logistics company at Parcel Forum during a conference presentation on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. The presentation will be focusing on the topic of “How Shield HealthCare Improved Delivery by Using Regional Carriers.” Shield HealthCare Director of Purchasing Jeff Lichtenstein will be representing Shield HealthCare and sharing the company’s experience of partnering with OnTrac for over 20 years.

“Many Fortune 500 companies are using a multi-carrier strategy,” says Magill. “The amount of available technology, the positive impact on the bottom line and maintaining a great service experience make it a no brainer.” mark_magill.jpg

For the past 15 years, Parcel Forum has been bringing together a large group of transportation professionals who are responsible for the shipping, distribution and delivery of parcel-sized packages. Attendees will leave the presentation with a clear understanding of what a regional carrier is, their role in supply chain and logistics planning, the benefits of using a regional carrier, and how to incorporate them into plans without disruption. In addition, Lichtenstein will provide real-life shipping examples and strategies.

OnTrac opened the doors to its 130,000-square-foot facility at Courier Street in Henderson during the fall of 2015. A regional expansion of the company’s operations, the move tripled the size of OnTrac’s operations. The Henderson expansion alone resulted in the addition of more than 60 jobs, and the company now employs approximately 99 people.

On April 8th, 2016 OnTrac International celebrated a major milestone of 20 years as a strong and successful business.

OnTrac International began as Express Messenger International on April 8th, 1996, as one of three divisions under Express Messenger, Inc. located in New Brighton, Minnesota. The division was started by Blaine Fyksen. On that first day of April 8th, there were only four employees. Within six months the Portland office was opened. Today, there are 17 employees all with an impressive length of service. The newest on staff having been with the company for three years.

On the 20th Anniversary the group celebrated by taking time to share a meal with both current and now retired employees, laughed over memories and enjoyed cake.

The future looks bright for OnTrac International. They have continued to grow throughout the years with outstanding shipping results. Last year, the division distributed over 58 million packages!

The team is consistently improving efficiencies to stay competitive, maintain strong client relationships, build up their sales team, and discover growth opportunities where OnTrac already has the infrastructure.

Congratulations on all of your successes OnTrac International!
